Remington's Contribution to the Herd:

Remington is firmly establishing himself as a true rump-improving sire. He consistently adds width and levelness to his sons and daughters. Beyond rump structure, Remington is enhancing general appearance, adding strength, depth, and capacity without sacrificing dairyness or femininity. His daughters exhibit well-attached udders with height and arch, reinforcing his value as a complete, well-rounded herd sire.

While many of his daughters are still young and early in their productive careers, they are already showing impressive length and balance. As additional daughters freshen, we fully expect Remington’s influence and impact to continue to become even more evident.

Remington brings a nationally proven pedigree to the table. His dam Mystic placed 2nd out of 52 at the 2023 ADGA National Show and earned the title of 2023 ADGA National Total Performer. His littermate sister, Wolfivan One Love, stood 1st out of 69, and together Mystic and One Love placed 2nd in the Dam and Daughter class. 

Remington had an unfortunate run-in with a hayfeeder when he was 9 months old and managed to dislocate a tiny bone in his knee that required surgery and the placement of a screw. He was confined to a very small area for about a month to keep him from moving around much, followed with moving into a little bigger stall in the buck pen – again because goats do dumb things and he needed time to heal. Despite physical therapy twice a day, he does have some significant stiffness in that leg making his gait a little wonky. Please give him a little grace because getting him to stand still (he wants to be in the middle of everything) and set him up is really difficult. And he’s black, making photos even harder.
