Maverick has really grown up. Not only does he have great hair, but he also has an awesome pedigree behind him. His dam, Noall’s Ark G Gourmandise (7*M VVEE 90) has been on the Elite Doe List for the past two years and she’s only 3 years old. This year she is in the 98th percentile and projected to milk at least 1220 pounds - and this is on an extended lactation (over 439 days in milk). His granddam Noall’s Ark D’A Gruyere (6*M VEEE 90) and great granddam Redstone C Mimolette (5*M VVEE 90) have also been on the Elite Doe List, so milk production is definitely in Maverick’s pedigree.  A large portion of the Noall’s Ark does are on the Elite Doe List, so they are doing something right!

I only have one daughter out of Maverick in milk this year (Slidewater Kona). Kona was very impressive as a yearling milker.  She didn't kid until May, but is expected to milk close to 900 pounds.  On a recent ADGA Genetics Production Evaluation, Kona's Percentile Ranking was 97% putting her on the Elite Doe list.
