Bug's Contribution to the Herd:

Bug is a very feminine and smoothly blended doe. She shows very prominent withers, tightly set elbows, and lovely top line. Going to the 2023 National Show was Bug’s first time in a show ring and she placed an impressive 18th place in her class of 3-year-old milkers.

Due to some fertility issues, we have not been able to evaluate Bug since 2023.

Bug delivered quints in 2023, but did not settle in 2024 or 2025, and the decision was made to attempt a laparoscopic AI In October 2025 to try to get her bred or at least try to find some answers to why she wasn't settling. The vet doing the procedure discovered that Bug's omentum had become adhered  to her body wall which can  restricted uterine and ovarian movement , which is necessary for  proper oviduct alignment for egg pickup and for the uterus to expand during pregnancy. The vet was able to correct the issue, and although the lap AI was not successful, Bug has been bred live cover and fingers crossed she is now pregnant!
